This Privacy Policy describes how Bark Digital Marketing collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you use any of our Applications. We are committed to protecting your privacy and providing you with a safe and secure experience.
Information We Collect

Personal Information:

When you create an account, we collect information including your username, password, email address, and user alias.

For requesting a sender name for Woofer (Bulk SMS Service), we collect information to verify your identity and associate it with an API key and sender name, including your Company Name, Sender Name, Purpose, and Sample Messages.

When you sign in to use Automailer Pro, we collect your Email and Refresh Token and securely store it on our database to enable cross-device functionality.
Usage Data:

We automatically collect information related to your usage of the application, including login information, the date and time message are sent, the recipient (phone number, email, etc.), the message context (except for emails), and the service used.

For Automailer Pro, we store your Email and Refresh Token to enable cross-device functionality. They are automatically removed and revoked when you Sign Out.
Gmail Access:

To enable email functionalities of Automailer Pro, we request access to your Gmail account through the Google OAuth 2.0 process. This access includes obtaining your email address, retrieving emails from the draft folder, and sending emails on your behalf using the Gmail API.

To use the Gmail SMTP server for retrieving emails from the draft folder using IMAP and sending emails, we require you to provide a Gmail App Password instead of logging in with your account credentials.

Your credentials (app passwords) will only exist locally in the application and will not be stored in our database, except for Automailer Pro (refresh token, email). These credentials would be securely stored and should not be shared with anyone.
Yahoo Mail Access:

To use the Yahoo! Mail SMTP server for retrieving emails from the draft folder using IMAP and sending emails, we require you to provide an Yahoo! Mail App Password.

App Integrity and Firebase App Check: To protect your account and data, we use Firebase App Check to validate that access to our backend services and APIs comes only from legitimate versions of our app. This prevents unauthorized or malicious access and strengthens the overall security of your data.

Authentication: We use Firebase Authentication, a secure Google service, to manage user accounts and validate user sessions. This robust system secures your account and ensures that only authorized users can access account-related data stored in our database.

Data Confidentiality: We have implemented strict security measures to protect the confidentiality of your data. Additionally, Firebase Security Rules are applied to ensure only you can access your data, and no unauthorized access is permitted.

Account Deletion
To delete your account, a 'Delete Account' is provided in Bark desktop application and Bark Connect mobile app.

Please take note that deleting your account is irreversible and cannot be undone. Data associated to the account as stated in Data Retention are immediately deleted once confirmed.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes through email.
